Once you visit Dakak Park and Beach Resort, I recommend you to visit Rizal Shrine located in Talisay Village, Dapitan City, around 10-15 minutes ride from Taguilon where Dakak is.
You might also like to visit the shrine first before basking yourself in the white sand beach Dakak has to offer or the other way around like we did since Dakak Park and Beach Resort have this free shuttle ride to/from Airport or bus terminal (applicable only for those who have reservations). We just asked the driver to drop us at Rizal Shrine. If you’re worried you’ll get lost on where to locate this shrine, don’t be, getting there is fairly easy, you just need to ask the tricycle driver to bring you there or you can also hire a motorcycle driver if you’re in a hurry. You will even get amused at the fact that they know Dr. Jose Rizal more than the average Filipino does.
