Car
If you've got the cash, hiring a car or van and a driver is certainly a good way to get around the island. With a big enough group, this is certainly a reasonable option - and it beats waiting for a jeepney driver to finish his siesta!
El Mundo Sports (433 4878; elmundo@pal-onl.com; National Hwy) is a reliable car-rental agency with good drivers and spacious vans.

RORO Bus to Roxas-Taytay -El Nido
All buses and jeepneys operate from the San José terminal, 7km north of Puerto Princesa city centre off the National Highway (there is a signpost that reads 'New Public Market'). It's a 10- to 15-minute tricycle ride from the city centre, and it costs P40 per person if you're alone and P10 per person if you share with three or more people. Check below for the RORO bus schedules.
I guess this place must be very beautiful and adventurous..

ReplyDeleteWow, I always wanted to go to El Nido! It's next on my travel list! Is the food expensive there?

Hi rose,
DeleteYeah you should visit El Nido soon. Towering limestone cliffs, stunning islands, crystal clear lagoons and white sandy beaches awaits you. About the food, hmmm there are no fast food restaurants around but there are carenderia's and small restaurants that suits your budget. The view is irreplaceable btw. Thanks for dropping by.
I wish I could go there in El Nido. Anyway, I'll keep this link of your article so if ever we plan to go in El Nido we already have a guide. Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah visit this article soon and hopefully I can squeeze in some time to blog...:-) Thanks
DeleteHi! I am torn between Coron and El Nido... Maybe you can help! I read your blog about Coron, and I loved it. I can only stay in Palawan for 3 days, and I need to choose between the two. Which one do you like the most/recommend?
ReplyDeleteBoth are awesome destinations but for me I prefer El Nido. If you want to have an island or a beach for one day then this place is for you =). Coron is a great place too but I find El Nido less commercialized than Coron.
DeleteHi, me and friends will visit El Nido next July. Any suggestion of place to stay? We are on a tight budget since we will be exploring the beauty of Palawan too. Thanks! :) -pongs
